Bridging the Divide: Depolarising the Conversation on Sustainable Agriculture – Event Report

ALLEA and Re-Imagine Europa (RIE) jointly organised an exclusive workshop, titled, “Bridging the Divide: Depolarising the Conversation on Sustainable Agriculture”, in Lisbon, Portugal on 31 January 2024 to explore theories and tools to depolarise existing narratives on the subject of sustainable agriculture, particularly the highly-contested role of new genomic techniques (NGTs) in the pursuit of sustainable food systems in Europe. This report details the aims, methodology, and outcomes and discussions of the workshop.
