Causality and socioeconomic inequalities in health: an interdisciplinary dialogue – Expert Workshop

Organised by the ALLEA-FEAM-KNAW Scientific Committee on Health Inequalities, this workshop aims at evaluating scientific evidence on causal relationships between socioeconomic position and health while focusing on methodological issues. Discussions will focus on identifying areas of agreement and disagreement between scientific experts, and agreeing on priorities for further substantive and methodological research. Finally, attendees will attempt to clarify to what extent the available evidence permits reliable recommendations for policy-makers on how to reduce health inequalities.
