Expert Workshop: ‘Evaluating Policies and Interventions to Reduce Health Inequalities: An Interdisciplinary Dialogue’

Initiated by the ALLEA-FEAM-KNAW Scientific Committee on Health Inequalities and for the third time in a row, this expert workshop will aim to assess available empirical and analytical methods to evaluate the impact of policies and interventions on socioeconomic inequalities in health.

As such, it intends to identify areas of agreement and disagreement between scientific experts, and agree on priorities for further substantive and methodological research. Above all, this workshop will attempt to clarify to what extent the available evidence permits reliable recommendations for policy-makers on how to reduce health inequalities.
