Patentability and Research Funding relating to embryonic Stem Cells (e-SCs)

The ALLEA Permanent Working Group Intellectual Property Rights prepared this statement in response to the Draft Opinion of 22 May 2012 and the Opinion of 18 September 2012 of the Committee on Legal Affairs for the Committee on Industry, Research and Energy, on the proposal for a Regulation to be enacted by the European Parliament and of the Council establishing Horizon 2020 – The Framework Programme for Research and Innovation (2014-2020).
